Working together

As you know, an accurate diagnosis depends as much on the reporting as the quality of the image.

It helps clinicians to have a direct line of communication with the radiologist and for this reason we work closely with our clinical colleagues to understand the patient’s needs.

In our experience, this achieves a higher quality medical imaging reporting service and better patient outcomes overall.

Quality of imaging reporting

Our interpretation of an image includes only those details which are relevant and specific to the illness, injury or condition to be treated. It also takes account of the patient’s clinical history and any findings from other medical examinations.

This saves a significant amount of time.

It means you can take immediate action to begin treatment based on the accurate diagnosis in the report.

Medical imaging services we provide are:

  • X-rays – of all body areas
  • Non-obstetric ultrasound scans – musculoskeletal, neck (including Fine Needle Aspiration) abdomen and pelvis, aortic aneurysm screening
  • CT (computed tomography) – of all body areas
  • MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) – of all body areas
  • DEXA scanning – for bone densitometry
  • Breast imaging – mammography, ultrasound, MRI

Specialist examinations include:

  • CT colonography
